Covid-19

15 June 2020

What a roller coaster the past few months have been. We have heard from many of our patients about how they are managing through lockdown, and it is safe to say that no one has been unaffected by Covid-19.

Dental Appointments

When lockdown began, we were instructed by NHS England to stop seeing patients, and any patient that had an emergency should be referred to an Urgent Dental Centre. At Enhance we remained open to triage patients over the phone and support our patients through the lockdown. Then, NHS England announced that Dentists can reopen under restricted measures as of June the 8th. So, at the moment, we are able to see emergency patients and some check-ups where necessary.

We are doing a phased return to the new ‘normal’ at Enhance Dental. We need to restructure the diaries in order to maintain safety measures, so if you have an appointment in June, we will contact you regarding this.  To ensure the rebooking process is done fairly, we are prioritising patients who have had a recent dental problem, followed by those who had an appointment over lockdown that we had to cancel.

We understand that many of you will be wanting to come and see us for treatment as quickly as possible, and we will try and make it happen where possible, although we are sure many of you understand that the rebooking process must be done fairly.

If you have any queries regarding treatment then please contact the practice to discuss.
Meanwhile, we hope you and your families are well and we look forward to your return at Enhance Dental.

P.S.
When you return to Enhance it might look a little different! Over lockdown, we have been busy extending the practice, so when you do return to Enhance you will see we have the downstairs area under construction.
